I bought this for my tivo roamio. I got rid of cable but before I sent back the cable card to the cable company I had local channels, once the cable card was removed no local channels. So I took a chance and bought this so that I could get local channels and it worked. The tivo Roamio does not have an hookup for an antenna, so I would have had to buy a different tivo.

I received the device promptly and in good order. Trouble is that my cable company won't let me use it. I still had to rent a card ftom them on a monthly basis. I think it stinks but it is what it is.

Pros: The card worked perfectly. It installed easily. It validated. I tested it with the devices firmware test routines. All good! Cons: My cable carrier requires me to rent either a card or a cable box. Since I own a box, I decided to use their card. BTW, it is exactly the same card, just different serial numbers. I'll keep the card for the future. Check with your cable provider.

My service provider reported that the two cards I bought were locked by and to a particular TV service provider (Cox, Comcast, etc.) and could not be used on any other system, including my provider's. So, I trashed them. Complete waste of time and money.
