Throws a nice light for such a small flashlight. Button function is Press once = Dim light & press 2x it is Bright. Button is very hard to push to make light stay on, must use 2 hands - can't just press with your thumb to turn it on. I must hold in 1 hand and press hard with index finger of other hand - it's all because of the rubber button cap - remove rubber button and it's easy to operate but probably won't be waterproof.

It worked like a dream until I dropped it about 2 inches on concrete and now it's been giving me all sorts of problems. It flickers more than the lights in a terrible horror movie which has made it unreliable so I stopped carrying it. I'm pretty disappointed since I've heard lots of good things about this light and brand.

This is my newest favorite Streamlight. I have several other models. This one is light and at the low setting it is very bright. I use it all day at work, checking labels in dark trailers etc. I recently clipped it on the bill of my hat to work on my Harley and, I will not ever going to go back to using a headlight.
