I bought this new one which I consider generation 2. My first one had to turn dial for the propane you kept messing up. The new one has a slide bar which works a whole lot better I've already used it a couple times up north in Michigan works great highly recommend this one.

Not sure what happened but it was working great and suddenly stopped. No damage occurred, it just stopped working to repel mosquitoes. It still heats up, but take a bit longer now to heat up, it just doesn't seem to have an affect on the problem insects. I would've recommended this a month ago.
