The Amazing Spider-Man Review
Hello! This is my review of The Amazing Spider-Man for the original Game Boy. The game starts off with freelance photographer Peter Parker (AKA the Amazing Spider-Man, everybody knows that.) getting a phone call from Mysterio, Master of Illusion. (The guy with a fishbowl on his head.) Ol' Fishbowl Face says that Mary Hane, Peter's wife, has bee kidnapped, but he doesn't say whom. Then, after Spidey's threat, Mysterio says that he doesn't think Spidey's gonna make it to the alley that Fishbowl Face is at. Man, that was dumb to say. Then the game starts. The controls aren't that hard. They are: to jump, press A. To preform the punch attack, tap B. To fire impact web, hold B. And, back to the gameplay. Other villains ibclude; the Hobgoblin, the Scropion, Rhino, Doctor Octopus, and my favorate, Venom! I like the controls, how they did the items, and their choice on the final boss because Venom would be hard to fight. However, I do not like the difficulty,(Hard) how difficult it is to web swing, and the fact that there is no main menu nor is there the ability to save your game. All in all, The Amazing Spider-Man, dispute its weaknesses is still a great game.
