About this product

Product Information

Cowabunga: Order yourself a pizza and climb down into the sewers to take on Shredder's challenge in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. Playing as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, or Michelangelo, players have the chance to battle it out with various opponents, including Hothead and Casey Jones, before taking on Shredder himself. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters comes with three modes of fighting. Players can either go at the game alone in story and CPU battle mode, or take on a friend in a special two-player versus challenge. The game follows the traditional fighting style that was popular in 1990s video games. Defeating Shredder's challenge leaves you shouting 'Booyakasha.'

  • Last game Konami made on the NES and it's very well done and fun!!

This is a very fun game to play. The characters use no weapons and there is only 7 to choose from. For being 8 bit it is very well made! It harnesses about all the NES can put out. It's not very long as the NES can only do so much, there is only 4 levels with vs, tournament, and story mode to play. The story mode is pretty good. This game is a must buy for any TMNT fan collecting the retro games! And even better it's still fun to play this day and age.

  • The game came in even better shape than I thought! Phenomenal experience :)

  • Below Average to Average - had high hopes - wasn't that good. (NES)

I had to have TMNT Tournament Fighters because I am a big TMNT fan and having this completed my collection of TMNT NES Games. Overall I like having it in my collection. I would give it a 2 out of 5 just because in the Story mode - its still a fighting mode and not an actual story like the rest of the TMNT games on the NES. In this game you dont use any of your special weapons for example Leo - the sword , Don - the bo - it just seems only Shredder has a special power so thats kind of a whomp whomp . But it is still a must have for the NES. Still glad I bought it.

  • Will be replaying alot if you can afford the game

    Excellent game
