About this product
Product Information
When it Raynes, it pours -- blood. This sequel to 2002's combat-heavy adventure moves the fast-paced action from Nazi Germany to a modern-day setting, where the half-vampire heroine finds herself at odds with those of her own kind. Plying an ancient machination, Rayne's own vampire father is attempting to shroud the sun and make Earth safe for all of his kind, allowing the undead freedom to dispense with humanity and claim the world as their own. Luckily for the rest of us, Rayne aims to put a stop to this shadowy plan.
Like the original BloodRayne, this second adventure is driven by combat, and the heroine's repertoire of fighting powers and abilities has been expanded. The sequel features an enhanced fighting system that allows Rayne to string together new combos and evade attacks in a variety of ways. Some new abilities must be earned by defeating enemies, so Rayne herself becomes more powerful as she progresses through the story. Rayne's Dhampir powers are still fueled by the blood of her fallen adversaries, so she must face a steady stream of fiendish opponents as she shoots and slices through this game's ten main missions.

These games are great tried the first one on GameCube and Xbox and didn’t like it much on there but I like ps2 versions my dad had this was worth buying on the ps2 I recommend them
When I first put it in my consol ps2 I was Very impressed by the Gory kills and the way to easy controls let alone all the campy remarks the characters make! Add in a partially clothed heroine and BAM you got this game in a nutshell! But that's where the f fun ends after about a hour of this I got really really bored and that's a shame it's almost like they started out with a great game and just left it there and called it a game! Oh well I have seen worse! But DAMN IT MSN I definitely have seen better enough said#
I loved this game. The characters in this game had so much more to do in the plot of it. This is a well thought out game. The voice overs are good, the graphics are awsome, you get to do more tricks now than ever before. You also delve a little deeper into Rayne's "life" and see her fight her siblings and her father, which is cool. She does these awsome tricks on the rails with her knives and guns, she also gets to play "gymnast" in some scenes where she's jumping across poles to get across a wall or over the top of a ceiling.
I bought this game because I had played BloodRayne on Nintendo Gamecube, and I wanted to play BloodRayne 2, which is only available on PS2, so I went out this March and bought a PS2 and this game. I can't wait until they come out with part 3! If you can, buy this game, or at least fight on it with bids, but don't spend more here than you would at the store, that's just crazy. Good luck and have fun!Read full review
Their are many things to love about BloodRayne 2:
The first is BloodRayne herself - she does look more "interesting" then in the first BloodRayne, as the Graphics are well improved. This Game looks WAY better then the First. The second is the cut scenes, they are done VERY WELL, and the voice acting is very good. The Story line is engrossing, as well as the combat moves.
The are many levels to this game, having you perform various tasks to move on to other levels.
But the best part of all, is when you finsh the game. Once you finshed it the first time around, you get a whole bunch of goodies to check out in the "Extras" section.
The only drawback is saving the game - it almost takes up to one minute to save to a Memory Card - which can be annoying.
Other than that, The game is good. IF you have the money to bid on it, BID ON IT. And if you can "Buy it Now", even better.
Do NOT miss out on getting this game.Read full review
So far I like, love all of it. Looks great. Love how the floor shines n reflects the ceiling n characters, how Rayne leaves bloody footsteps when she walks through a pool of blood. I would have liked it if destroying stuff gave us special points or something. But cool game either way. I saw tv trailers for this game n forgot about it till it popped up on ebay suggestions. Looked the gameplay over on you tube n had to have it. If u like castlevania u should like this game. Happy gaming.
