The product is as advertised. It was made of quality materials, and after assembly when I used it the first time the day after a rain, it aerated the lawn perfectly. It will pay for itself within 2 seasons based on what my lawn care professionals charge to do this same work. Assembly is a bit tedious as you have to put each of the "sprockets" together individually which takes time but otherwise not too bad. Had it together in an hour and 1/2. Only issue with directions is that the assembly instructions vary between the 40" model and the 48" model so some of the pieces are not provided for the smaller model or not required which took a minute to figure out.

Takes a while to assemble, but it has great instructions. It works great with 150lbs of weight on it. I used it after a good rain and I was pleased with the way it worked. For me, it's not worth the hassle of picking up and returning a rental when you can own this in the low $200.00 price range.

This is my first Brinly Aerator, but my second tow-behind Aerator. The first impression is the weight of the shipping box. The metal doesn't bend while hauling tremendous loads, which enables deep aerating. Unlike other aerators, the raise/lower handle parallel to the load-bearing tray--which is a brilliant idea.

Was not that bad to put together. If your lawn is wet and you have some weight on it, you can pull 4-6 inch plugs. Really happy with the results!
