We purchased this tent for our Generac generator. You definitely should purchase one if you use a portable generator. We live in a rural area and have temporary power outages several times per year, especially during storms. You cannot run a generator indoors, nor in the rain, so you need a shelter for the generator. We thought about assembling some sort of rain/snow protection for it, but came across this product while researching plans for a self-built one, and am glad I did. It was not difficult to assemble, but you must follow directions as it is adjusted to the specific size of the generator. It is actually well-made and all the seams seem sturdy. Once we attached the frame, we just leave it on and remove the vinyl "tent", but it too could be left on so that the generator could be stored outside. We are very happy with this purchaseRead full review

Fitted up real nice to my Robin Generator frame in less than 1/2 hour. Looks neat and tidy. I haven't used it yet but it looks sturdy enough that it should perform to spec.

Had to to remove some plastic guards from the frame to get it to fit, but after that fit fine. Did not get o use it yet outside. Can not operate collapsible handle to move generator to operating area without removing tent though.
