Poor Quality plastic used less than 6 months and hub to wheel failure (see photos).
Poor quality. I would expect better quality from an original equipment John Deere replacement part. This is the second replacement wheel hub assembly. the first one failed after less than 3 months use (see photos). The quality of plastic is poor and the part failed between the hub and the wheel through the webbing / gussets. I would not recommend this item but there is nothing else available that has the internal gear. I am very disappointed in this product.Poor quality. Poor Quality
I have had my John Deere JS30 self propelled push mower for about seven years. I mow about a steep bank each week with it and have replaced the one rear wheel 8 times because they keep breaking. The original wheel stripped out so the mower wouldnt move very well so I replaced it with an after market wheel because i was unable to find oem. The other wheel is still the original wheel to the mower and I have had no trouble with it. The qaulity of material in this aftermarket wheel is very inferior to the oem wheel. I'm hoping John Deere realizes the need for the oem wheel and makes them available.I have had my John Deere JS30 self propelled push mower for about seven years. Cheap skates.
The bushing that goes with the wheel was not included with the product . I had to use the old one. The replacement product, as a minimum, should contain the bushing. Certainly it would’ve cost them only a few cents to include it. It is a cheap piece made of plastic.

OEM replacement quality. Exact fitment. Satisfied with product. Not sure how long it will last but for now I'm up and mowing my lawn again with no issues. Pricey replacement but it is a brand name. Recommend.
