Based on the trailers I thought I'd seen all this movie had to offer. But I was quite wrong. The movie was inspirational. The soundtrack was great. The dialogue was witty and hilarious. And the message caught me completely off-guard. In the end this is, I feel, an important film in the current racially tense climate. Often we don't recognize that we have a racial bias. It can be subtle. But when it's revealed, it must be addressed and changed. This movie got my family and me talking about issues like this. I call this one a must-watch.

It seemed to be a quality DVD purchase until I opened the case. The DVD was in great condition, but the case for it wasn't. The case has a paper sleeve which doesn't fit well together. Every time I had to put the case in the sleeve, the cover photo would bend, tear and so finally, I got rid of that photo cover on the case. Cheap, poor condition case.

I guess I'm "spoiled" by the quality and humor cartoons of the Bugs Bunny era 1960s-1970s because I felt a little bored. I believe very young children will enjoy it though and my 38 yr. old son gave it an "A" grade. He didn't watch the same cartoons I did growing up and his youngest children are now 4 and 5 years old.

Zootopia has such adorable characters. The animation is wonderful. Zootopia is about an idealistic little rabbit who learns things are not what she believed. But with the help of her new friend, a fox, she makes the world a better place. I recommend this movie to all ages. There is nothing objectionable or controversial in it.
