We looked everywhere for this dvd for our grandson. He is two and he asked about this dvd everytime he came to see us. We combed the stores in xouthern and central Iowa. No luck. Finally a friend said to try Ebay and maybe we could find a new one there. Sure enough, there were about 4 of them. We bid and within a few days we were the proud owners of this dvd. The whole purchase process went very smoothly and the dvd arrived in no time. When it arrived our grandson was elated. We watched the dvd with him (he is his cowboy hat)and it is exceptional! They sing cowboy songs and even Travis Tritt has a guest spot. You can never go wrong with Sesame street dvds. They are always fun and educational. I would recommend this video highly.
I bought this DVD for several reasons. 1-My Grandson LOVES anything related to Elmo. 2-My Grandson LOVES horses and cowboys. 3-I LOVE my grandson. 4-I also LOVE Travis Tritt, who just so happens to be in this DVD. This is a colorful DVD that your child or grandchild will enjoy watching over and over, and one you will enjoy watching with them as well. In addition to the muppet horses, there are real horses. This DVD was released in 2001, and I could never find it in any retail stores, but was so happy to find it here on ebay. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
My 1 1/2 yr old daughter loved it! She danced during the songs and said, "Yee haw!" every 2 minutes for the next day. We replayed the parts she liked best. They do an excellent job of keeping in all of the regular items you expect in an Elmo video (the Noodles, drawer, Dorothy's question, etc.) while adding in enough material to keep the parents wanting more. The movie is as long as 3 regular Elmo's World programs (50 minutes) so a young child might not remain interested all the way through.
Another fun addition to our Elmo collection, my little guy loves it :) Horses, dancing and songs! Travis Tritt guest star appearance.
