By the grace of God, the birdcage arrived unbroken. In my 20+ years of buying on eBay, I have NEVER received a purchase so poorly packaged. There was no padding to keep the box from collapsing, just a a few sheets of paper for what was a fragile item. The box was ripped on one side and the box was not taped completely closed. The box that was too small for the birdcage was taped with white duct tape with one strip on the seam and three cross strips. Remedial package class is recommended!
