Went together without a fuss. Instructions were great. Installed in a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, a perfect fit. Mounting feels very solid, should be fine restraining a big dog under hard braking if needed.

Ok for smaller vehicle.
It’s sturdy and well made but is not as large as it appears in the pictures. I bought it for my 2021 Toyota 4Runner after seeing another 4Runner owner’s review. Installation was simple and straight forward but the barrier leaves too much room at the top and sides in my vehicle. My dog squeezed through it and was in my back seat before i was even at the end of my street. May work in a small wagon or crossover. It’s sturdy and well made but is not as large as it appears in the pictures. I bought it for my 2021 Toyota 4Runner after seeing another 4Runner owner’s review. Better than the price that Bezos guy has.
This item is going to save my seats in my 2012 highlander. I couldn’t decide on the big or the small. I bought the small. The big may have fit but it would have been close. I do have small gaps on the side. The tie-downs are looong. I think I may trim them down some day. Two big dogs fit perfectly back there and can no longer encroach on me as I drive!
