This stand's metal aluminum frame is super strong and heavy so it's tough the wooden panels are pressure treated fiber board not partical board just care not to over tighten any of the screws. Super solid and sturdy enough to handle two tanks just care to measure bottom tank had to take of it apart some of it and slide in between the frame to get my 30g tank underneath in. But overall very good stand just needs some care assembling it to not bend metal or Crack break the wood.

As all other user feedback, all you have is a exploded picture to go by. If you can follow that without directions, then this is a great deal as the parts used are not cheap junk.
