    Vet recommended

    My vet recommended this book as well as another to help me learn about dog nutrition as I help my pup through some health issues. It covers all bases as it explains the WHY as well as the HOW. My dog is already benefiting from the attention to diet- I would recommend this book to anyone who truly cares about their dog or cat.

    Good info .....

    While I agree with Steve Brown's philosophy on feeding our canines, I thought two things: a) I don't have time to do all that he suggested, much as I'd like to, and b) thought the book got a bit more detailed than I could readily grasp. (may say more about my Type A personality than the book itself ...)
