WARNING- NOT for walking an untrained dog. Untrained dogs require claw collars. I bought this for my Trained shepherd dog to Pull me on a skateboard/ cart. I wanted something that was comfortable for her as she wants to pull me like a sled dog. I found this -for the price- and only one on eBay, that does NOT cut in to the top of the dogs arms as she raises them, like other harnesses on eBay. This one also comes with the seatbelt slip whish is handy so I can have her out on walks, pull me around on my skateboard, then back in the car, all with this item. I found it works great for smart owners and their dogs. Pulling harnesses are NOT for training your dog to go on regular walks with you. Get a claw collar.

The connectors on this harness are very difficult if not impossible to unhook and then rehook. I was able to get one unhooked but I can't get it connected again. I could not get the other connector apart. I have the correct size but I couldn't imagine trying to connect this on a wiggling dog. The straps are very sturdy with good padding for the chest. But the connector clips are the craziest things I have ever seen.

Sturdy. Well-made. Keeps my strong and 'wiggly' rescued pit bull mix secure in the car and is a good walking harness as well. No other harness - and I have now tried 6; the Kurgo is my 7th - has worked to keep my dog secure in a car or helped to keep her better controlled while walking.

I got the size L for my 74 Lbs Gordon Setter and it fits perfectly. Easy on and off. One complaint is the seatbelt attachment. If I use it as directed it is difficult for my dog to lay down. I don’t understand the purpose of the loop if you only use the carabiner.

Works really well. Only drawback is that the clips to attach the straps are these kinda weird metal buckles. I was expecting the normal plastic quick release clips. I am certain that these metal clips ensure a safer ride and make my dog more secure in the car and on walks - but I have to say that it does take quite a bit more time to get him into the harness due to these weird clips. They are a lot more clumsy than the normal plastic quick clips that are on most harnesses. However, as I have now been using the harness for several days, I have gotten more used to it - it is getting a bit easier, but still not as easy as the normal plastic ones. I am NOT saying it is a deal breaker at all. I just wanted to mention it so it didn’t surprise you as much as it did me. Don’t get me wrong - it’s really a great harness.Read full review
