I had the king komb (it is very good too) but always wanted a furminator as I have been told by multiple dog grooming professionals that it's the best. I finally ordered one and man it is a beast with very little effort to use. Puts my dog to sleep when I brush him daily.

This is a great brunch for long hair shading dogs. We have air everywhere around the house and this product helped a bit. We thought it would have much greater impact but we realized that we have to brush every day. So if your dog likes to sit with you. 15 min brush daily should make the hairs around the house decrease significantly.

Best deshedder on the market. We have a one year old creme golden retriever and she has started shedding white fur all over.
