Does what it says.
This light gun is clearly not as well built as the old nes zappers. The plastic feels cheap, the blaster is not weighted, and the trigger pull does not have the satisfying click. The trigger is also very thin feeling. However, it works well. It scores hits just as well as my original zapper, and it hits where it is aiming. If you don't want to spend the extra money on an original or something with better build quality this will do just fine. Just remember to use an old curved tube tv!This light gun is clearly not as well built as the old nes zappers. It's ok...
Let's just start by saying that this item does work, but in the end you get what you pay for. Now, for some criticisms. First, the gun feels cheap and light. It is a bit smaller than the original Nes zapper and much lighter. The trigger pull is also not very satisfying at all (compared to the original). Next is the accuracy. In Duck Hunt, if you shoot anywhere near the ducks at all, you'll get a hit. Hogan's alley was (no pun intended) hit or miss even with the gun right up against the screen. Freedom force worked OK but for some reason when the gun is plugged in, the intro doesn't play. Now, maybe my unit is a bit defective, but this is what I got. I wouldn't really recommend this unless you really just want to casually play duck hunt in the cheap.Let's just start by saying that this item does work, but in the end you get what you pay for. Besides it not working on a modern tv you can't even plug it into you game system. The plug on it is completely in correct! Even though it's inexpensive it's still a rip off! Don't waste you time or money!!

Mine works fantastic!
I've put some good time in with my gun on Gotcha! and Barker Bill trick shooting and I've been very pleased. It's been surprisingly accurate, trigger clicks like it should, and has a long cord. It's light but I consider it a plus since a good play through can last a while. Got to Round 10 recently on Gotcha using my Retron HD NES and Toshiba CRT.
