Best book as a gift to give anyone

I gave this book to a friend as I have a copy myself. Over the week end they read the first 2 chapters and already wants someone else to get a copy. This book should be read by every teenager in their senior year of high school.

  • The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason

I bought this book when I was a teenager on the advice of an accountant friend. I later lost the book, after reading it. I liked it so much I bought it a second time. I love this book for many reasons. My favorite thing is that it is told like a fictional story - an interesting novel to read. So I was never bored at any point during the story, which is so often the case on books about money or finance. This book is excellent because it is not fluff. It is not a bunch of lies or get rich quick way out schemes. It is solid business and personal finance advice. It does not take long to read it. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to get some good basic advice about the handling of money. This book falls more into the general advice category. This is a good addition to ...

  • Excellent is not good enough

This thin book is a MUST for anyone's library. There are seven rules to money and all of the other books on money spin off from this one! Thsi book has a very good concept, that says you can work ANY job and become rich! I had a question I asked myself as a kid. That was. "How come I am seeing so many hard workers and yet they are dieing broke?" Well this book answers that question and much more. If I am ever lucky enough to have kids, then they are getting a copy of this book every year until I boot them out of the house. This is the only book that I offerred to pay a 22 y/o with 4 kids to read. TO REPEAT: EXCELLENT is not a high enough rating!!!! I am not selling my copy of this book!!! NO WAY!!!!!!! Thanks littlesons_shop

  • Read this book, then share it with others!

This book is HIGHLY recommended. I would suggest you buy this book for anyone who just graduated high school or college. In fact I would buy this book for anyone who might think about getting a credit card, or retiring someday. Or even better yet, buy this book for anyone you know! Basic Idea: 1. Save 10% of everything you earn 2. Pay off all of your debts, and don't get into new debts 3. Invest the 10% you saved so it earns a return, then reinvest that return 4. Don't invest in foolish things that might make you lose your principle invested Great book, easy read can finish in a few hours even as a slow reader like me.

  • A Great Book & Real Treasure

Read this & you'll be set for life,Based on a True story recorded on tablets found of the time & day in ancient Babylon.Never to late,I'm almost 65 & putting into practice now it's premiss to save at least 10% of what I earn if not even 20% for me.Had I done this in my youth when I first heard of this concept I'd be a millionaire several times over by now.Never to late, you that are younger can start now & become independently Wealthy
