I cannot recommend this product enough. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Easy to follow videos on the supplied micro sd card make assembly and setup so easy it's hard to imagine anyone not being able to do it. They supply you with a comprehensive little tool kit, with everything you need to get you started and also some print files to dip your toe in the water. After my initial setup I tried a test print from the sd card and my first attempt was perfect, you would think it had been machined out of solid pla. They supply you with a generous reel of white pla so you can be printing right away. The user interface is simple and intuitive. If I had to give any negative it would be the auto leveling software, although it works great, you have to keep cycling through the menu for every step as the timeout before it goes back to the home screen is way too short. I cannot believe this machine was so cheap and would not hesitate recommending it to anyone interested in 3d printing. :-)Read full review

After searching a 3D printer with good value, I purchesed the CR-10S, and I was not disappointed. The printer comes almost fully assembled, you just need to screw together the bottom and top part, adjust the rollers, and good to go. I had good quality first prints with default setting sliced in Cura. I have opened up the control box to inspect the electronics if any of screws holding the terminals are loose, but it was correctly assembled, and I'm satisfied with the overall construction, and safety of the device. The bad thing in this printer is the quality of the printing bed. The aluminium base is curving slightly up towards the middle. The glass plate is neither flat -- I have measured it with a dial indicator, have approx 0.1-0.2mm difference accross it. --, but it had not caused serious issues, even at 0.08mm layer height. Had an issue with the wire crimping at the hot-end, causing the loss of nozzle heating while printing, but it was solved with a replacement part quite easily. My summary is, it's a great printer for the price. Printed 14 hours uninterruptedly, having no problems, but mind the fact this is still a DIY printer, and as all DIY printers available it needs more love and care than an "out of the box" printer.Read full review

the printer came in a large box not to heavy, on opening you find that the printer is half made up, after a few hours of making it up following the videos on the enclosed microsd card, in the green usb reader also enclosed, you have help guides and videos to assist in building etc, i could not find the files to print when i put the sdcard into the side of the main power unit, i went through the menus couldn't find the things to print, so i plugged in my pc with the short usb cable also enclosed, and plug the other end into the side of the main unit next to the sdcard slot, i loaded the software from the card onto the laptop and then got a copy of simplify 3d, i found this easier to use i loaded the items to print for upgraded to the pc and printed them out, after a little messing around i got some great prints, you don't need the heated bed cable support as it comes with it already on, I would not recommend the sticky tape or strips that came with the printer, i used a cheap glue stick rub it on the bed where your printing heat the bed to 80 degrees and wait for the heat to dry the glue and the filliment to 190 degrees glue gives you a nice surface to print on, I heated the bed first as that takes a few mins to reach temp, then heat the filliment it takes a few seconds, you can do this in the simplify 3d. i would recommend going to the website thingiverse for all sorts of other things to print out, i found a must the large heated bed ajustment knobs, and light so is it worth the money, yes if you want to start at 3d printing it gives great results just like the Creality CR10S, just under a different name. its solid made so will last and you can print extra parts and pimp the printer to what you want,Read full review
