Easily the best value in VR gaming at the moment. It is an all-in-one plug-in-play solution. No complicated setup, no lightbox sensors, and no headaches. The visual quality is superb and there's no noticeable screen-door effect. The controllers are good, but due to the camera based tracking of the headset your controllers lose tracking if they go behind you or out of sight of your headset. Otherwise I would always recommend this setup for casual, beginners, and anyone looking to get into VR. It is well worth the asking price.

This is a good headset, it's a good value for the money and it works well. However, I have spent $100 over the last month trying to find cable extensions that will give me another 6ft. Nothing works. I now have a powered USB through which an extension cable is plugged and audio is still crashing during applications. It only has a 6ft cord, and it's just not enough. It's a huge oversight by the manufacturer, that they cannot spend the pocket change to make a 10ft cable native with the headset, and instead force end users to run the gamut of 3 party peripherals that are almost guaranteed to not work correctly. It is a massive PITA and I can't rate this product higher than 'average' for that reason alone.

I hate giving star ratings. Either I recommend something, or I don't. So, do I recommend the Samsung Odyssey Plus? In a word: Yes. But it comes with some potential bumps. I get the device, and set up took far longer than advertised. That's my own failing. Be smart, and trust the software. Once I did that, I stopped having problems with it on that side. Once ready, I put the headset on, and it's what I've been waiting for. The resolution is high enough, and the anti-Screen Door Effect technology they're using works. This product will last me until VR tech really hits its strides in the next 3 years. It's pretty comfortable, but I don't really have enough experience with VR to compare it one way or another to the competition. The controller tracking was much better than I originally thought. It tracks as well as the Rift Touch or Vive Wands, without the expensive cameras/basestations. Be a little patient with them if your controller is pulled back under your chin, or out of sight of the Headset's cameras. I'll upgrade them one day, but for now, they work fine enough. Now the bumps in the road I mentioned. I put on my headset, and I'm greeted to a great display, and horrendous electrical screams. This is because the provided cable is too short. It's the USB extender that caused the noise. I spent the next week trying to solve the issue with different USB extension cables, a USB power hub, even a second instance of this product. Same issue. What I needed was a USB repeating cable. Yes. It's worth the $25 and extra 6' you don't need. If you have the problem I'm describing, get that cable. Don't hesitate. I also spent that 7 days with ear damage, brought on by that screaming. I had the volume set to 20%, and then 5%, and it still hurt my ear. I got better, but I didn't think I needed to suffer that much for a f****** $500 product. Conclusion: I recommend this device for anyone who wants a "Good enough" VR headset that you don't need two 2080TIs SLIed to power. My higher-end setup is good enough to get some decent super sampling out of the games I've played, and that makes the already great looking display even better! So avoid my pitfalls. You'll do fine. Also, I bought it here, because I wanted the warranty Ebay and Amazon offers. I could've gotten it $200 cheaper, but I would've had to pay $20 monthly to have the same accident protection. It's VR people. You're going to smash your controller into something eventually. Get a flipping warranty. Read full review

Very cool product very cool to deal with. Superb product and don't get me started on how fast it got here. I think it was like less than a week international! Whaaat? Yup. Highly recommend these guys and this system is the best possible for the money. Wide fov and great tracking. Still getting used to movement. No screen door effect really. The face pad is a known issue but you can get an aftermarket one that solves the light leaks and pressure point. I wish it was just a tad sharper maybe I just need to set it up a bit better but there is just a bit of softness to it. Blacks are so black. Very immersive. You will not find a better system for the price in my opinion. I'm very happy. It's as good as occulus or vive for less money and you have access to all the library's of games except PlayStation so ya. Awesome! I learned it's a tad less sharp then the occulus because it's designed that way in order to eliminate screen door some sharpness had to be sacrificed. But you set your resolution to 150 percent and go 90 htz and you will be quite happy. Read full review

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Even though the HP Reverb G2 is on the horizon, if you can grab the Odyssey+ for a great deal like I did then it will be well worth it. Word of caution however: Make sure your motherboard does not use Entron drivers for your USB ports. Windows Mixed Reality hates Entron with a passion. Please make sure you research which drivers work with WMR before you make your purchase. I spent so much time worrying about my graphics card (GTX 1660 Ti) that I neglected to pay attention to anything else. Also, if you need to purchase a usb 3.0 pcie card make sure to stay clear of Yottamaster. The card might crash your system. It is a headache to get that thing up and running again. Since I hadn't built a computer in over 8 years I opted to rebuild mine with a new motherboard (ROG Crosshair VII Hero), processor (Ryzen 9 3099X), and 16 gigs of memory). All and all, I feel really good about this purchase. Now I'm about to get down on some Half life: Alyx. Peace!Read full review
