I m a professional designer and installer of Audio and Video I use this speakers usually as surround speakers, because of the 3 way configuration are a little too much treble for front and right in my opinion. They work great in rooms where the location of the back speakers can be a little tricky because this speakers are angled, works better far from non angled in ceiling speakers could be located, if you can't put them in the back of the ideal "listening position" you can put them a little in the front and aimed at the ear listening position. The bass is great and very well constructed, In 3 years I install more than 50 pairs of this model always works great no complaints so far.
I needed some good quality ceiling speakers to complement my Dolby Atmos sound system. These seemed to do the trick. The sound quality is crisp and clean while watching 4k movies or listening to music. The build quality was excellent, which is to be expected by Yamaha products. Easy to install into the ceiling with the auto locking clamps that grab as you tighten the screws. I like the driver angle design and the tweeter adjustments, so you can aim them in the general listening area. Overall, great speakers that weren't super pricey. If I had more channels on my receiver, i would probably get another pair, but these will do.

I am using this speaker in the garage. It sounds nice. Nice sounding highs and mids. Bass isn't as crisp as I usually like, but, it's a good speaker for the price. The installation is as easy as it gets, cut a hole, run the wires, hook the speaker wires to the speaker connections, put speaker in the hole, turn the mounting screws, and the tightening posts tighten up from above.
The product arrived in original box and conditions. I installed the speakers without much issues. All worked as described.
