The pins with bow ties are the way to go. Others sell the pins without the bow ties. When you have the misfortune of shearing one because you found your newspaper with the snow blower the bow ties make it easy to replace and you can find the old sheared parts after the snow melts, you do not end up with nails in your drive way that you used to hold the shear pin in because that's all you could find on a cold snowy morning. The best part were these are priced right making them an excellent value and price.

These shear pins are just like the OEM product. They have great clasps that can be used when you have to replace a broken shear pin. I use mine for a snow blower. When I hit a large patch of ice I sometimes break a pin and need to replace it. This is able to be done outside and in the weather. These pins work just like the OEM pins. Very happy to have a nice set of pins for the snow this winter. Have had to use the snow blower 7 times so far this winter. I have had two broken pins that needed to be replaced. Would highly recommend these.
