This book is not described very well. Cute dolls but the pattern are very minute. A person would have to enlarge each pattern at least 1000% in order to have a pattern fit for making a doll. I do not recommend it. Below are some pictures are some of the pages to show how the patterns must be enlarged very large in order to make the dolls. Very disappointed in my purchase. Not usable as far as I am concerned. Since buy must pay the return shipping, it is not worth the hassle, but you will lose your money if you buy it. I did purchase this product but it is a loss of money for me.

This book was copywrited in 1984. It has many doll patterns that are unavailable today. The patterns include a family of dolls for a doll house, a clown pattern, some ballerinas, a rag doll, and some new clothes for dolls, as well as a Victorian doll and her victorian dress pattern. The dolls are all pictured in vibrant colors and then the following page tells how to make it, very descriptively, and shows the pattern on a graph paper that can be enlarged or decreaded in size. It is very diffult to find good doll patterns today that include the doll. Most doll clothes today are for a certain size doll, such as 18" 20" or larger. This book has a variety of clothes; boys as well as girls. It also has a pattern for a tea cozy. I really like that one. I was attracted to bid on this book as it was priced reasonably $.99, and most of the cost was postage. It is well worth the price I pd. I was absolutely amazed when it came because it shows that an old book can be kept for a long time without yellowing, or bein half torn. The cover is still shiny and new. It was well kept by the original owner. I purchased the book because the price was reasonable,the description of it was exact, and it is a book that interests me. lots of ideas and colorful pictures.It is very helpful to make any hats for yourself and your children or grandchildren. Good to have one in my book shelf.
