I have one on my Sako 30-06 and love it! The magnification adjustment was a little stiff so I added the throw lever attachment which made it much easier. The scope is super clear and images are crisp and clear. I have a higher end scope that cost more but the clarity is no better than the Athlon. The FFP is far better to me than the standard SFP because I like the fact that the reticle increases with the magnification. After my experience with the Athlon on my -06, I bought one for my 6.5 CM. For the money, you can’t go wrong!

If your going to hunt and target shoot this will do both. Comparing this to my Vortex the reticle is thicker on the Athlon and easier to see. The Vortex is better at targets in good light due to its thinner reticle but the Athlon will be the better all around scope for general use.
