After discussing the issue with the seller, a replacement deck was sent out immediately at no additional cost. The replacement deck worked perfectly and I am very happy with the end result. My original Xbox is now fully functional again and I have a new parts supplying seller for future retro console repairs. Highly respect and recommend this seller. Great experience overall.

If you have an Xbox with a Thomson drive that wont read disks or is starting to give errors this will probably fix it. It is an easy install as long as you have torx screwdrivers. There are a handful of screws, some ribbon cables and two wires that are extremely easy to solder but can also be spliced in a pinch. The seller is extremely responsive. I initially had a problem with my order but it was resolved quickly and I am very satisfied with the purchase.
