I already knew some of the album's tracks from the albums Night After Day (Billy Joel) and You've Got Me Hummin' (The Hassles) so I was familiar with this type of music. Fifteen years ago or so I would not normally have listened to, let alone bought, this type of sound, but being a Billy Joel fan I listened and the sound grew on me. I now love it. Being recorded in the late 60's the recording quality is not brilliant with some hissing on some quieter tracks but I would still recommend the album to die hard Billy Joel fans who can also appreciate the young Billy Joel singing voice. One of my favourite tracks is 'Hour of the Wolf' which lasts almost 12 minutes.
I played the album when it first came out. It brought back many memories.
