    retro type windup alarm clock

    Very well made like ones from the 1970s and runs for ages a lot longer than I was expecting. Nice a loud alarm and easy to read when half a sleep . Metal keys at the back no plastic ones and regulator glad I got 2 , 1 for me and a mate wanted one and both happy a great buy. Almost impossible to get local now.

    A clock with small issues.

    The clock is almost as advertised. However, the knobs are white plastic and not metal as they seemed in the images. Not sure if I'm remembering wrongly but the winding knobs turn ANTIclockwise so I almost broke it as soon as it was out of the box. The space between the knobs is a bit small (I don't think my fingers are particularly big) so winding and adjusting can be a bit fiddly, so it might not be a good purchase for those with manual dexterity issues.

    Beautiful but hard to use

    Very nice clock, but far too difficult to move the hands. Not enough space between the controls and extremely difficult to turn them. It is beautiful but falls short on ease of use, which is SO important. I have no option but to return it.

    You get what you pay for

    Became unreliable after 5 months of use. Even when correctly wound and set would often go out of sync or die completely, not what you need with an alarm clock. Not wholly unexpected at the price but still disappointing.
