    Better than my old sharpening steel

    This definitely sharpens my kitchen knives better than my old steel. But when I first had the steel it wasn't bad. Only time will tell is this carries on working for a long time or if it too will gradually fail to sharpen. Compared to other examples available to purchase the price is good and quality OK.

    Well balanced when using giving a really good edge to your knives.

    It is 100% better than an ordinary steel, puts an edge on a blade really, the quality in manufacture is exceptional being well balanced and feels good when using.

    The Sharpening surface wore off within days of use. Now it just leaves a black trail of dust on the knife blade.
