Accomplished her goal! Holly finally shows her "True Self"...Does not reflect her outer beauty....
I was/am a HUGE GND fan. Loved all the girls! Holly's first book was very compelling, well written and made you want to keep reading....even though the content was highly questionable at times. This second book pretty much cleared things up. Holly goes on throughout the book explaining how the original NGD tv series did not show her "true personality". Reading how she tears down all the men from her past in this second book for - let's face it- very shallow reasons, makes the whole Hugh Hefner is a "mean" evil perv thing highly skeptical. Either that...or all men simply suck in her mind. Except for only one - she refers to him as "Mark" and left him due to his...age? Come on...-.- I liked Holly in the original NGD tv series. Her and Kendra seemed to be on the same level of sweetness (Bridget tops that chart), though she did appear intelligent, glamorous, classy and loved animals. I could see why Mr. Hefner would have made her #1 for those reasons. The Holly's World tv series had SOOO much drama it appeared very fake. I was fooled into believing the NGD series version of Holly was "the real Holly" and that maybe this was just classic reality tv BS. In spite of the fab glam Las Vegas had to offer her - she lost her classy vibe due to whining about all of the things that don't matter - in this reader's opinion. Half way through the book, I got bored. I can say one thing though, she accomplished her goal. To show who she really is. A witch with a capital B! No wonder Mr. Hefner wouldn't marry her! Mr. Pasquale, you better not step out of line or become boring or your wife will most likely write a vicious book about you! 2 stars because the book was well written.Read full review
