There is no possible way any reviews for Razers Raijus can be anymore 1 star. Here if you're on the fence, don't buy it! Why? Little did I know peoples reviews would be so deceiving. While I truly believe sellers are in the dark or well hope to sell to one of these casual gamers that just think its cool. To give an idea I looked at what I thought was legitimate reviews and thought they say its the best of the best so I mean ive got the budget and thats what I want, the best of the best. Not a controller that needs all versions before v1.04 recalled. Just sum it up I've had the controller for 1 day. 1 DAY! Immediately when I connected it and started toying around on my competitive fps game I knew something just wasn't right. But figured I just needed to mentally adjust to the new style from just the regular old DS4. Here I am 24 hours later with the verdict of this. Pros (cause I mean there is some, granted just because a carseat looks and feels real nice, if it doesn't pass a safety inspection I'm not putting a child in it. Nor paying triple the amount of a passed one) 1. The 4 custom buttons are decently placed making somewhat of an advantage if other parts worked right. 2. The app for the controller could be great if you didn't have to go through hoops on fire to get it reconnected every single time you want to change something. Honestly the way I made those "pros" sound should give you an idea of just how bad of a state this controller is. Cons 1. Heavy, like holding 5 lb rock for 4 hours after only 1 hour of play. (I know some people like this but when keeping the aspect of "competitive" in mind it should've been as light as possible) 2. You would have to update the firmware as soon as recieved. Because the version you'd get is full of latency issues and just all sorts of bugs. 3. Updating the firmware to the latest update still doesnt fix a huge hardware failure of the right analog stick drifting. (And still bad latency) 4. Wired and wireless mode make almost no difference in terms of issues. They both have these very same issues only wireless is more of a hassle if you have a wired headset, and well just getting it to actually connect to the ps4 to begin with. (Intermission sorry for possibly ramblingad grammar this is my first ever review. I have never felt like I had been so false advertised in my life that this had to be done. When you read big review sites rating high and saying its the best controller. Razer trying very hard to keep the fact that anyone with v1.03 or earlier are just crap out of luck because v1.04 has a HARDWARE update that fixes it.) 4. Quick fire mode does not work on all games. 5. I had better luck finding support on reddit to see what the heck I should do with my brand new controller than Razers website themselves. 6. Customer service is, "pm so we can figure your case out." 99.5 percent of the reddit users are saying they're all have this issue. So why is it being hush hush instead of addressing it how it is. A pre-alpha controller released as a esports ready controller. If putting my best effort into this review isn't enough and you still want to risk it for the biscuit, then I hope your intentions aren't to be competitive. Tl:dr Reviews have all been false advertisement If it is not v1.04 it is a controller that needs recalled A fake diamond filled with feces Buy 2 other perfect, actually competitive controllers for the price of this soulja boys new controller Well thats all for now folks. I hope you go with a much better choice than I did.Read full review

The controller itself is great. It feels great in my hands, the buttons feel nice, and the extra button inputs are great. However, shortly after using the controller for the first time, several problems arose. The left bumper (L1) button stopped sending electric signals entirely, the right joystick started having sensitivity and drifting problems, and the audio coming through the controller started to regress into 8-bit-sounding audio around every 30 minutes. When I installed the firmware latest firmware update provided by the manufacturer, my controller stopped working at all. I was only able to use it on the previous firmware update.

This controller is the best there is for PC (with a PS4 layout) and performs better than the Razor Raiju "Ultimate" any day of the week. I play Rocket League primarily and without this controller, the game is unplayable for me. I would highly recommend, and really wish these were still manufactured new.
