A child of the 50's, I had the great good fortune of having grown up in an era of really great, trend-setting music. While the driving rhythm of "hard core" artists (Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Righard, etal) demanded most of my record-buying dollar, the less-frantic music of such as the Platters and the Drifters certainly had its place. This particular album, for certain, contains ALL the top hits of this seminal group and I'm quite well satisfied with its value. The album notes are also quite informative; showing the genesis and evolution of this superb group.
