Im not trying to down on people business, i wish everyone well and successful, but this product is very useless, if your not 10 yards away from it, it will not find it. Just dont work at all sometimes. This is how this product work. Its a community, the more people have it, it will help to find it by other people devices, but not enough people have it. Because its useless, dont buy it, dont waste your money. They should give it out for free for about 5 years then sell it.

I know some think Tile is overpriced, but in reality, these are cheaper than the battery-replaceable brands in costs over the year. In fact, Tile will replace free if your Mate loses power within a year. And, those half dozen times we couldn’t find our keys or phones or our dog...well Tile just paid for itself the next 10 years!

I've found lost items reliably several times since first use. Keep in mind, they're marketed to be semi-disposable, and beware of used ones being sold, as most likely the battery life will be significantly shortened (duh). So what to do when the battery dies out? Buy new Tiles, I guess. :) 1 year lifespan claimed, and folks have cut them open to replace the batteries, so depending on your level of tinkering/DIY they may be used indefinitely in this way. 2018-08-29.
