I've been using it for several years. It keeps my shoes and other leather goods in good condition. It has a pleasant odor and is easy to apply. Just wipe any dirt off the leather, put a couple of drops of Bick 4 on your fingers, and wipe over the leather. It takes about 2 minutes to do a pair of shoes. If you do it 2x a week, you will rarely need to use shoe polish.

I would have given it more stars but I would like to know what is in the bottle. Ingredients!! As far as how well it works...It's great! Just wondering about the chemical's in the bottle and how safe it really is to use. "Skin, hands etc." It is a cleaner also!

I tried this with Bick 1. I was so impressed with the two, I made a second purchase of Bick 4. I purchased a kit containing three 8oz bottles: Bick 1, Bick 4 and a sealer/water repellant. The Bick 1 is for heavy cleaning, in fact, it will pull any wax additives that have put in your boots, it does heavy lift cleaning. The Bick 4 restores and saturates the leather. Bick 4 will also clean, I would compare it to the Meltonian I was using, both lotion and the cleaner and conditioner. The Bick 4 cleans better than the Meltonian claner/conditioner in my opinion, and is cheaper. In fact, way cheaper now that the Meltonian is discontinued. Bick 4 is used generally like any leather cleaner, use generously on the leather, working it into the leather real good, let it dry, I like to wait a good half hour before buffing it out. I've noticed a softening of the leather as well. I use this on my Justin boots, cow and exotics, nothing has darkened from the use.Read full review

I have a very comfortable leather jacket which I purchased in the late 70s and, needless to say, it needed some help! This stuff did wonders! It will probably take at least one more treatment and possibly two because it was so dry. Just the first treatment put some life into it! Highly recommended!

Have used Bick 4 for several years. Works especially well on Indian Motorcycle Tan leather seats and bags. Equally well on custom boots with exotic leathers. A nice crème base which works into the leather easily and penetrates well. Just let stand for 5-10 minutes and buff off. Doesn't leave that greasy, slick feel you sometimes get from products that almost have that hard shoe polish feel. Will keep using!!
