I have two grandsons, one is 7, the other is 5. Their heads are (I guess), normal size and this helmet fit both heads. The chin strap also came in handy, as we were playing "Jurassic Park Forces battle Indominus Rex" in the backyard. The kids love dying by dinosaur.
