As a truck driver for 20 years, a CB radio is a essential tool for my line of work, the Astatic 636 CB mic is very durable and lightweight ! !
This is a great microphone for the money, has great output and modulation and eliminates, cancels any back ground noise's associated with driving a truck ! Great Mic for the money, I have used this style of mic ( Astatic ) for 30 something years !

Great value the Astatic 636L microphone
The Astatic 636L microphone was exactly what I was looking for. It fits in my hand perfectly and is lightweight. I have had reports that the audio is very clear and has a full sound. You can't go wrong with this microphone as a good replacement mic. I am using this mic for ham radio but it could be used for CB raio also with good results.

exactlly as described is a good mic i am using it works good has a nice internal layout if i want to convert it to a diffrent radio that isnt compatable easy to solder it up inside the mic if i need to its on a older cobra 29 40 ch works right as is from factory this astatic 636L noice cancling mic.

Astatic mic, well built last for a long time
Great noise canceling mic, a lot better than a standard mic. Button spring tends to break after a few years of using but is an easy fix if it does. Is really a great value for the price.
