This cookie book has lots of good recipes and lots of pictures - good looking book with some unique cookies. However, I do like to bake most everything from scratch. On page 104 the "Chocolate Macadamia Cookies" calls for a package of Duncan Hines Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and on page 136 packaged cake mix. ??? Additionally, this book is a collection of cookies from various manufacturers not from a home baker, a particular commercial baker or pastry chef. While I do like the book, I'm glad I got it on eBay at a good price.
I love this cookbook! It is easy to follow with a great variety of recipes and fantastic pictures. Makes a great addition to your cookbook collection or a gift for the bride to be. Thanks Shopgirl
