Ordered 3 of these kits. 1 of the kits was missing 2 parts. I contacted seller and I was told they would send a replacement kit. Not hearing anything else from them, nor receiving a kit, after 2 weeks I sent them another message asking for a status update. Here it is another week later, no kit or even a tracking number for the replacement kit , and no response to my message.

A nice afternoon project
A bit fussy, as the parts are small. Instructions must be found on the web, which makes it a little inconvenient unless you have a computer at your workbench. Fairly straightforward if you have any experience. May be confusing for absolute beginners. Goes together in a couple of hours if you have a decent soldering iron. USB power means you don't need batteries, which I consider a big plus. Lights up nicely, making for an interesting desk ornament. Fun Christmas solder-together kit
Fun solder-together kit. Makes a nice holiday decoration too. Does NOT come with instructions. Use Google and YouTube to find them. Also, The red LEDs came out a little dim and the green LEDs came out pretty bright. Try experimenting with different resistor values if you want to correct that. Overall good kit!

Okay, but could be better.
This would be a nice project kit if it came with some good directions. Resistor placement was a guess other than what was marked on the board. Some of the leds on part of the tree were dim and other didn't light at all. I'm an experienced electrical mechanic and it would have been nicer to just have some solid instructions on where parts went.
