    Solid CD player/amplifier

    An excellent value for a compact CD player that has its own amplifier. I use it on the shelf above my kitchen sink with two book shelf speakers. I have not used the volume beyond half way because that is plenty loud for the room. The remote works good. The dimensions are 11 inches wide, 4 1/4 inches high and 12 inches deep. The power plug adds another 1 inch to the depth. The features I do not like are the controls on the unit. These are on the top and in black along with a black surface. It is very difficult to see these controls because they are flush with the surface. It is actually easier to use the remote which has clear labeling of the control buttons. It would have been better to have buttons on the front that are protruding from the surface. The two buttons on the front ...
