sturdy, but too much over-ring for my taste
I found this head to have an uncontrollable, excessive, high pitched over-ring. I tried the usual muffling methods, Remo's, duct tape, and an adjustable external felt pad, with little effect. To be fair, I have little experience with 2 ply snare drum heads, this may be an inherent quality.
