Works on many brands of lap harps
These "sticks" make it easier to balance a lap harp in your lap. They fit into the back soundhole and create a platform for your knees. They are designed for harpsicles, but I have found that they work well on many other kinds of lap harps, including both wire and gut. Sometimes I make my own "sticks", having my own woodworking shop, but I also use these, and find them a good value. If you don't have your own wood shop, these are definitely worth the money. Note: these are much improved over the originals supplied with my harpsicle. The originals were round. These are squarish, which gives them a bit better purchase on the knees. The round profile sticks tended to slip off one's knees. Have to screw it in tightly because it slips a little, but makes playing so much more enjoyable!
