Today's mobile and wedding djs should pride themselves on cable management, which helps characterize a setup as clean, tidy, and professional. With the new innovations from Bose, EV, and RCF, slim and sleek speakers help to eliminate tripods. These stands perform exactly the same. No more tripping and kicking of extended tripod legs. The heavy duty build of the central pole and weighted base create a sturdy and reliable stack for almost any single monitor. (I used QSC K12.2). No tipping worries and I was able to place these in spots limited by a wide tripod. Not only are these great for speakers, but lighting and projector adapters are awesome too. Especially if you are using battery operated lighting. Overall an A+ worthy of 5 stars. A neoprene cover for the bases would have been nice to ... Super Strong and Stable. Better Than Expected!
I wanted to be done with using a tripod for my lights and found this unit in a DJ forum. The description and photos can't portray the strength and stability of these units. If you use the corner threads for the pole you can slide the entire base under your table for a very clean setup. The base is very heavy and the bottom part of the pole is 2" diameter. Add some gravity clips and you'll have the cleanest setup you ever imagined! Before and after photos below show just how great these can make your setup look!I wanted to be done with using a tripod for my lights and found this unit in a DJ forum.
