The Keeley Neutrino is very reasonably priced, small, and has a great tone for guitar and bass envelope follower. Easy to dial in just the sound wanted. Many other units are not able to deliver the tone that this one has and not just a one trick pedal. Glad I found it. Not at all disappointed. Much like the 70s funky auto wah but better than most.

Sounds amazing! Everything about it is perfect! The size, the touch sensitivity, easy to manipulate, and solid build/components. I've owned a lot of different envelop filter pedals, such as; EH Q-Trons, Fender Pour Over, Spectrum Intelligent Filter by Source Audio, and the original Neutrino (which was awful). This is the one for me!

I'm a huge Keeley fan but they really dropped the ball with this pedal imo. The frequency band is not set correctly- it eighter has too much bottom end and sounds muddy and woofy- or it's no bottom end or lower midrange and it's thin and harsh. Not to mention the intensity or gain is also your volume so- once you turn it up to where you can hear it- the sweep is so exaggerated it's useless. I sold mine within the first 3 weeks of receiving it- I tried and tried to make it work- just wouldn't.

It's expensive so can't be considered good value but it is excellent after taking a bit longer than usual to get a good workable sound as it's a bit more complex. If you can afford it I definitely recommend it.

Great sounds. Other envelope filters I've tried seem overly quacky and too much on the higher end of frequency. Low pass and standard direction are the only settings I use.
