Very rigid little music stand!
It would be more feasible for the back plate to be made of aluminum instead of steel. I cut 4" off of the top of the plate to lighten it. Plus It was too tall for my hand written song lyrics. I just use a clip to hold my lyrics to the plate. It's perfect for me and It's small enough so the audience doesn't realize that I sometimes have trouble remembering lyrics and need an "idiot stand!"

It's good - real good. It's not great - I have to clamps on the top to hold my music because it won't hold in a level place. Overall-I'm glad I have it and can ditch my music stand.

Fits the need perfectly
So far it works great. Just what I hoped for. Recommend it for a thick spiral notebook on stage, which is what I use it for. Not sure it would work to hold anything much heavier than I use it for as I haven't tried it for such a thing,,, but it fits my needs perfectly.

Great item that has more than one use.
I used this as a music stand by attaching it to the back of my xylophone and it is perfect, sturdy and the holder slides-off when moving the instrument. Love it!
