Family Fun With A Simple Drum!!!!
Can't believe how fast it was delivered and in good condition. The drum is the perfect beginner size and came with a tuning key. The sound when drumming with the enclosed mallet is clean and simple. I bought this for my toddler who loves music with hard beats, it's never too early to introduce them to a world outside high tech devices. Truth is I'm having as much fun beating it in tune with music, and playing marching band with the baby.Can't believe how fast it was delivered and in good condition. Good Tunable Drum
This is a tunable drum, made in Taiwan, but it’s of good quality, nicely finished, and comes with a nice felt tipped beater, and a tuning key for the brackets. The brackets tighten and loosen the skin, depending on how you would like the drum to sound. That I don’t know about, because I bought it to make a banjo out of it. But it’s of much better quality than the numerous Chinese imports online. There’s a pic here that shows the drum as a banjo. Purchased this for my church. Had never played one before, I usually just play cymbals or tambourine. But liked the idea so decided I’d give it a try thinking someone may like it. Upon arrival I immediately tried to tune it, and quickly figured out that tightening makes a higher sound and loosening makes it lower as you’d expect. Great Littl Hand Drum!
This is perfect as a hand drum. I hope it will be equally as the "pot assembly" of the banjolele I am building. I highly recommend it as a rhythm band hand drum. The purpose for which it was intended. A truly great little hand drum at a very affordable price.
