    Great tone and perfect OD.

    The MXR Timmy was one of the OD tones I have been looking for. The gain knob is perfect for adjusting with a glassy clean Princeton Reverb. So now, I can play my Princeton at bedroom volume and get an excellent overdrive tone. I also used it on my Blues Jr with the Hemp cone speaker and its edge of breakup, which sounded beautiful. I even used the Timmy on my Fender Bronco from the 90s, a solid-state amplifier on the clean channel through a Mesa 2x12 cab, and it was great. The Timmy MXR pedal is worth the investment and more affordable than buying a Paul Cochrane handmade Timmy pedal. But this pedal was a collaboration between MXR and Paul Cochrane but made accessible to guitarists who want the Timmy but at the working-class hero price.     MxR Custom shop Timmy mini pedal

    Super tiny pedal, packed with a ton of crystal clear high end with a well rounded low end and the same time, while adding just a touch of color. Possibly even a little of the dry signal in there to enhance the natural tone with some magic, without losing itself in the mix. I dig it, a little pricey but worth it.

    Timmy Drive

    great sounding clear drive. I've tried a lot of clean drives, this one is tops. many 4 knob (or more) pedals are too twitchy and a pain to set right. this one is easy, I like the small size too

    Versatile amazing overdrive

    This is my new favorite overdrive. It has many sounds and goes all the way from light breakup to respectable distortion range. I love the three different clipping options. I expect this pedal will never leave my board.

    The Timmy is Tops for Warm Overdrive

    I was looking for an overdrive pedal that had a moderate level of gain and provided a "warm" tone. Finally found it! I have tried 20 other OD pedals, and so many of them are too "gnarly" or have too much gain. I really like this pedal for a way to just give a little more grit to your tone. Highly recommend!
