    Eat yer heart out Pete!

    Just kidding there, but seriously, this thing's more than just a toy, it allows one to exude Frampton-esque sounds, and all manor of Joe Walsh-ey Pink Floyd-ey type stuff too! Stick a phase shifter or a Leslie emulation pedal in between the mic and amp, and you got '70's bliss! Wholeheartedly recommend this for any and all Frampton fans! Rock the Hell on!!

    This IS The One!!!

    Back in the 70's and 80's I had a couple of homemade talkboxes. Either they didn't work very long or my amplifier didn't work very long. I sort of soured on ever using a talkbox again, until I came along and discovered the Rocktron Banshee. I briefly tried one of the Dunlop talkboxes (a one night stand) about 10 years ago but that just scared me that I was going to blow up my vintage tube amp (that would be costly) again plus it was a total pain in the rear to hook up in the speaker path. The Rocktron Banshee is easy to hook up and my only concern is that one of these days I'm going to mess up and hook up the speaker output to my amp input and blow the preamp.     Real Giging Musician Quality, Value, and Reliability!

    I have owned the "other" major Talk Box for years! Recently I switched amplifiers and found my setup requiring an ohm change. Needles to say my other brand of talk box bit the dust and DAMAGED my new Marshall tube amp! I bought the Rocktron Banshee and I'm kicking myself in the head for not buying it when it first come out! This thing is AWESOME! I was worried it would not get loud enough but I was quickly relieved to find this unit actually got louder than my other brand even when my amp was CRANKED! Just for refference I use a 100 watt Marshall JCM 2000 TSL with 2 Cabinets when playing. Don't worry fellow guitar players, this thing will amaze you.     Banshee Talkbox Rocks!

    This is a great product housed in a sturdy steel chassis, complete with its own amplifier circuit. With talk boxes of yesteryear, you had to use the output from your guitar amp to drive the horn inside a talk box, which created lots of problems (complex setups, blowing up amp transformers, etc). Since the Banshee has its own built-in amp, you hook it up just like any other stompbox pedal. Of couse, you still need to route the tubing up a mic stand and "sing" into a mic (through a P.A.). Another plus, you can hook up a small speaker to a separate output on the Banshee and use it as a practice amp! Even has nice gain & tone controls!
