It was new and packaged.. as a long time Brooks Brothers fan this shirt came smaller than their native original.. not sure if it was a copy .. it looks good .. but this has never happened

Rest assured that the Brooks Brothers 1818 Polo you purchased is Authentic and Original BB made. We have sold more than 800 polos since we started carrying this particular line a couple of years ago and have had no problems regarding its Authenticity from satisfied and returning buyers (pls. see our almost excellent track record on the buyers feed backs). All BB polos were purchased directly from the BB Company supported by evidence of receipts which we can prove if requested or challenged.
