Fast Start/3 Fast Miles
I gave an average rating because 3 Fast Miles brings it down. If it was just for Fast Start it would be excellent and 3 Fast Miles below average. Fast Start introduces interval training into her walks you work up a good sweat in only 35 minutes. Leslie also does an excellent job of cueing the next moves so for people like me who get frustrated when they aren't matching move for move this is great. She calls it boosted walking during the intervals but it's actually jogging but you can do the low impact, fast walking, which they demostrate. When I'm short on time and unable to fit in the Walk Slim 4 Miles then this is what I pop in or if I want a little longer workout than just the 4 Miles. 3 Fast Miles is all fast walking and no intervals. A great, fast-paced workout-one of her best
This is one of Leslie's best workouts. The pace is speedy but achievable. Several people of varied ages in my family enjoy this DVD. You certainly feel as if you've put in a good workout, no matter which mileage you choose. The people were varied and the moves were simple enough to keep up with. The only thing that keeps it from being "excellent" is Leslie's tendency to chatter and eventually get silly throughout the workouts. This doesn't detract from the overall effectiveness of the workout-it just makes it a bit annoying to do daily. Keep in mind, there is a mode with music only. But then you have to watch her talk. Love working out to Leslie Sansone and this is one of her better ones. It's a great addition to a workout library.This is one of Leslie's best workouts. The pace is speedy but achievable. Nice Alternative
I love doing Leslie's videos, but after a while you just get too use to them. This was a nice change. You start doing intervals to boost your workout. They are 3 minute intervals and you only have 3 of them. You can either walk fast or start to jog when the intervals hit. Both ways are demonstrated. In my opinion, this video is good for all body types, thin or heavy. I am not a small woman by any means, so it's nice to find a exercise video that you get to choose which intensity you are comfortable with. This video is good for that little extra boost you want or need to get over a weight loss plateau.I love doing Leslie's videos, but after a while you just get too use to them. This was a nice change. Although the individual Dvd's are mismarked-reversed and I have only done the 3 fast miles-the workout is great. Seems like there is alot of waist movement-which I need. The music on the 2nd and 3rd mile, as well as the cool down is excellent. Really puts your coordination skills to use!!!
