    A great tool for musicians looking to get good multitrack recordings without breaking the bank.

    I use the Zoom H6 with the EXH-6 dual XLR capsule to record my bands’ live performances and honestly can’t imagine why anyone would consider another product for this purpose. You won’t find another 6 track recorder of this quality close to this price range. Some might take issue with the lack of phantom power from the EXH-6 but, I use one channel for vocals from the PA and the other for bass guitar from a DI, leaving 4 channels on the H6 with phantom power if needed. It also happens to be an excellent device for capturing vinyl records. I like it. I like it a lot.

    Adds 2 extra microphone inputs.

    The EXH-6 adds two extra XLR/TRS connectors to my Zoom H6. This is quite useful for small ensemble miking. The unit snaps, replacing the cardiod miking system. It includes 2 volume controls. It is well made and works as intended with no drama.

    Just the job to expand your recording scope.

    Whilst the Zoom “6” does indeed provide 6 channel recording capability, having the choice to substitute 2 separate source mics for the ambient stereo pair is a greatly desirable add on and well worth the investment. A must for the accessories bag for the “field” recording engineer.

    Great for 6 host for Podcast

    Not you would not normally have 6 guest on a Podcast but being able to have the ability to add two more tracks to you the project is amazing. When using my Zoom H6 on my dslr is perfect for interviews or a panelists show!
